Listen to the calls of vervet monkeys at a special viewpoint

From the viewpoint on the Boteti, despite a few trees, you have a wonderful view of the river and the surrounding nature. In the trees you can watch various animals such as vervet monkeys and birds. Elephants occasionally block the viewpoint to feed on the leaves of the mopane trees, which are heavily worked over by the elephants.

When no elephants are around, enjoy the view and scan the large trees for vervet monkeys. These monkeys have specific alarm calls for leopards, snakes and birds of prey. With a bit of luck you can hear the monkeys and watch how they respond.
